The Global Tourism Promotion Council has organized Tomato Holi to celebrate the Tomato Festival and Holi together in Spain.

Although Holi is celebrated in Nepal by playing with colors and water, this year tomatoes have also been added to Holi.

At the Tomato Festival in Spain, participants throw tomatoes at each other and have fun by splashing on the tomatoes.

The young women had fun in the Tomato Holi organized in Lainchaur by imitating the same.

IN NEPAL:

Tomato Holi is a traditional Holi game played in Nepal, particularly in the western region. In this game, tomatoes are used as a prop to play. On the first day, players throw tomatoes at each other, while on the second day, a pathway is created using tomatoes and players throw tomatoes at each other along that path.

The main objective of Tomato Holi is to have fun during the Holi festival and promote unity among people. This game is also used to clean the streets before the Holi festival. It is different from other games played during Holi because it involves the use of tomatoes and is followed by a Gaai Jatra celebration.

However, people who want to enjoy the festive spirit of Holi also like to play this game.
