    Staff politics at school! Starting today, schools in Chitwan will be closed for a week

    August 27 Chitwan | The Nepal School Staff Council Chitwan has instructed to close community schools in Chitwan for a week from today.

    The council has asked the Nepal Teachers’ Federation and affiliated organizations to close schools for a week as part of the council’s protest program.

    According to the directives of the council, which is on a staged protest, all schools in the district will be closed from 12th to 18th due to discrimination in salary.

    The Chitwan branch of the council issued a statement saying that the program of agitation has been announced across the country and informed that the community schools of all seven municipalities of Chitwan will also be closed.

    The council is protesting that the employees are not getting salary according to their educational qualification, work efficiency and ability.

    Through a statement, the council has asked for the necessary support to make the program of the movement a success. The council has also written to the principals of all public schools to facilitate the closure program.

    The Council expressed concern that despite repeated requests in a peaceful manner to implement the agreements made with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through the Ministry of Education, the relevant bodies did not show any interest.
