    Under the organization of Moti Community Library, city-level comprehensive Teej song competition and (Dar khane दर खाने program was completed

    August 26 Parbat |On the auspicious occasion of Haritalika Teej 2079, the great festival of Hindu women, the municipal level Teej song competition has been completed by Moti Community Library Women’s Savings and Loan Cooperative.

    This song competition was completed at Khanigaon Ward Office, Phalewas Municipality Ward No. 5 of Parbat.

    Participants from different wards were present at the municipal level Tij song competition and rate eating program organized by Moti Community Library Women’s Wachat and Loan Cooperative.

    There was a good presence of ladies and gentlemen.
    Speaking at the event, Mayor Gangadhar Tiwari said that he would emphasize on the preservation of Nepali art and culture.

    Addressing the program organized on the occasion of Haritalika Teej, the great festival of Hindu Nepali women, he said that everyone should join hands in the protection of Nepali art and culture. The municipality has also expressed its commitment to provide all possible support to such programs which are organized to protect the traditional practices that have been disappearing recently.

    In the event, Deputy Chief Shobha Kumari Chhetri Executive, other people’s representatives, Netra Vishwakarma, Arjun Bahadur Karki, Ward President of Ward No. 3 Shankarpokhari, Narayan Prasad Lamichhane, Ward President of Ward No. 5 Khanigaon, Indra Sapkota, Senior Librarian of Moti Community Library, Janapriya Pvt. V.P.A Durga Kumari Suvedi, Small Entrepreneur Federation President Kesha Kumari, Janaki Diju, director of Om Shanti Phalewas branch, expressed their greetings.

    In the program Sirjansil Aama Samuha Khanigaon first, Navpratibha Women’s Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Devisthan Second and Samidanda Aama Samuha third position take places . The first, second, and third place winners were awarded cash prizes of Rs. 15,000, 10,000 and 5,000 with certificates.

    The event was conducted by Indira Tiwari, chaired by the president of the organizing organization, Leela Kumari Sharma, with the welcome speech of Shushila Lamichhane.
