    Who is Rajendra Lingden , Why has the attraction of people increased in Prajatantra Party?

    KATHMANDU – Rajendra Prasad Lingden is a Nepali politician, belonging to the Rastriya Prajatantra Party currently serving as the member of the 1st Federal Parliament of Nepal. In the 2017 Nepalese general election he was elected from the Jhapa 3 constituency, securing 44614 (56.52%)votes

    Although RPP’s countrywide organization is not strong, the party has won three seats in Jhapa due to Liden’s decent and polite personality and organizational skills.

    Towards the end of the Panchayat period, he lost the election of the Mechi Vampasna Students’ Union in 2045 BS on behalf of the pro-Panchayat student organization Rashtravadi Vidyarthi Mandal.


    When RPP became a student organization in 2048 BS, he became the founding central chairman. Similarly, he was transferred to ward no. There were 3 ward chairpersons.

    During the direct rule of King Gyanendra Shah, Lidden became the chairman of Jhapa District Development Committee. He was nominated by the then King Gyanendra Shah as the chairman of DDC Jhapa.

    During the people’s movement of 2062/63, he was blackmailed in Birtamod, Jhapa, accusing him of being a monarchist.
    During the armed conflict, Maoist cadres set fire to his house in Golthap, Jhapa.

Constitutional monarchy, multi-party democracy, Sanatan Hindu Rashtra, strong local bodies, united Nepal are the living dreams of every RPP cadre. Although the cube of imported democratic republic has attacked the established norms in Nepali society, the hard work of RPP members, well-wishers, Through efforts, our dreams are being revived in Nepali society. We must now have the courage to preserve those dreams, to enrich them, to organize them and to lay the groundwork for a movement for that, as time demands. RPP is a political party with clear ideas and distinct identity committed to democracy by mind, word and deed.

    The restoration of the monarchy and the Hindu Nation, not federalism, but the building of a unified force by co-operation, front or unity among individuals, groups and parties in favor of strong local bodies. RPP is open to this, time is making its need even more urgent. I appeal to the concerned parties not to delay in this.


    Every member of RPP not only to run a political party but also to be a member of an important political party that has the dream of making change possible in Nepal with Nepali soil, suitable for Nepali environment and power of Nepali people. He also expect to the support and goodwill of the well-wishers who want to see the progress of RPP.

    His plan to reiterate his commitment to serve the country and the people by treating corruption as eating mother’s blood.
