Despite the flat terrain of the district, there was no good playground in the area. The locals believe that if a stadium is built in Devisthan, which is lagging behind in terms of development, the development of the region will take a big leap.

Mayor Padampani Sharma said that the construction of the stadium could not be completed on time due to lack of budget. He said that the construction of the stadium was delayed due to the negligence of the state and federal governments in allocating the budget. He is confident that the economic development of the region will take a leap if the physical infrastructure for the construction of a stadium in Phalewas can be developed.

“There should be a well-equipped arena for playing international sports in Phalewas,” said Mayor Sharma. And even the unemployed in the country get employment. ‘

Phalewas Municipality has given special importance to sports field along with development infrastructure. The municipality has stated that more than a dozen playgrounds have been constructed in the last five years.
